The journey of Anchor of Hope was nothing shy of incredible for Anelise. It all started in Bolivia when some friends from Santa Cruz happened to invite her to visit the streets with them. Her heart was immediately captured by the needs of the precious children that she met that day. God strongly impressed the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of these valuable lives on her heart. The next thing she knew, she was beginning the beautiful journey of Anchor of Hope! Anelise has her Bachelors in Elementary Education. This has allowed her years of various work experience in the care and teaching industry, working with different populations including children and adults with special needs and inner-city youth. Anelise is currently leading Educational Programs at the Anchor Community Center in Santa Cruz.
